Glass negative by Capt. George Comer, taken inside the deck house onboard the whaling schooner ERA at Cape Fullerton, Hudson Bay. Probably taken March 8, 1905. Depicts two Inuit women and a child seated in front of a sail cloth back drop. One woman wears a beaded parka and both wear cloth skirts. The beads and cloth were obtained from the whalers and were popular trade goods. Information from original envelope identifies this as # 39.
