Glass negative by Capt. George Comer, taken at Cape Fullerton, Hudson Bay, on March 25, 1901. Depicts an Inuit woman working with animal skins, probably caribou, alongside the whaling schooner ERA . Comer described this image as follows, "showing method of drying skins by pegging them to a wall of snow..." Information from original envelope identifies this as Photo 38 and # 65.
