Glass negative by Capt. George Comer, taken at Cape Fullerton, Hudson Bay, in March 1904. Depicts a group of Inuit children posed inside deck house onboard the whaling schooner ERA. Comer identified them as "three girls," In Too [?], Francis Santo, and Tom Palmer, and "three boys," Arthur Gibbons, Tom Luce, and Heyward. Several of these names also refer to masters and officers of American whaling vessels, suggesting that those men were the fathers of these children.
