Glass negative by Capt. George Comer, taken at Cape Fullerton, Hudson Bay, December 1903. Depicts several Inuit standing in front of newly completed snow houses. The men are identified by Comer as Santa Anna, Gilbert, Joe and Jimmy. Also clearly visible in the photo are several Inuit snow shovels, used in the construction process. Information from original envelope identifies this as Photo #190, #18. The number 18 is etched into emulsion on right edge of plate.
