feather cape

Feather cape; feathers sewn onto cloth backing. 3/4 oval with front extensions. In predominantly brown, white and black feathers. Pattern: 2 black lines around white line forms border; half moon on either side with half moon of green feathers along back. Tufts of fluffy white feathers on outer and inner edges. Thought to be an English version of Hawaiian Islands costume. Possibly from the Society Islands. Diameters 23 1/2", 26 3/16".
