Lantern slide prepared by the American Museum of Natural History, NY, from an original photograph (1963.1767.51) by Capt. George Comer. Used by Comer to illustrate lectures about his Arctic and seafaring experiences. Depicts "Harry" [Ippaktuq Tasseok] and his wife "Patty" inside snow house. He is using a bone cutter, apparently working on a piece of bone or ivory. She appears to be sewing. West coast of Hudson Bay, ca. 1897-1912.
