One of 5 (1971.184.1-5) napkins rings; white sailtwine; 3 flat turk's heads incorporated into the design, one on each side and one in the front. Made by Joseph Avellette in the early 1910's. He was chief in Navy and was on the PRESIDENT LINCOLN when it was torpedoed during W.W.I. He spent 18 hrs. in the water before he was rescued.
