Trophy, sterling silver circular salver of the Chippendale period. Border is scalloped & incurving molding; 3' are dbl. scroll & pad. Crest in ctr. of top. Bottom has 4 stamps saying salver was made by Robert Jones & hallmarked in London in 1781-82. Bottom also has engraving in script done at later date: "Presented to/ C. Oliver Iselin/ by a few Boston friends/ in token of their appreciation of/ his great ability as a yachtsman/ and his/ untiring Devotion/ as manifested in/ the International Races of/ 1899/ Columbia Shamrock"; and "A.P. Bigelow...Charles G. Weld".
