Lantern slide from photograph by Capt. George Comer; taken in Hudson Bay, ca. 1904. Depicts a seated Inuit man posed in front of a sail cloth backdrop. Identified by Comer as Melichi [Meliki], who died on Southampton Island during the winter of 1909-1910. Photo probably taken onboard the whaling schooner ERA at Cape Fullerton in January of 1904.
