Photograph; port view of New York 50 Class sloop yacht CAROLINA on starboard tack off coast; framed with 1974.933; handwritten on back of frame "Carolina with.../ rig designed by Mr. Herreshoff/ Sept 1919/ Grayling with original rig", and "The first marconi rig/ ever installed in a large/ racing boat was designed/ by Mr. Nathaniel [sic.]/ Herreshoff for my father's/ NYYC 50 foot class sloop/ Carolina.
