Aluminum centennial medal 1798-1898 of the Providence Marine Society. One side is stamped with the picture of a ship and the words "Lead and Line A Good Pilot./ Taken Care/." Other side has stamped the picture of an anchor with 2 telescopes crossed. One one side of telescopes is stamped: 1798/ , and on the other is: 1898/. Stamped around the medal is: "CENTENNIAL/ THE PROVIDENCE MARINE SOCIETY." Condition is good. Medal is attached by a ring to a red, white, and blue ribbon attached to a straight pin. Ribbon 1-3/8" long.
