Fancy knotwork on canvas hammock. Actually a mast skirt made from a hammock. 8-1/4" from top of hammock, macrame begins with red, white, and blue 1-1/4" satin ribbons woven horizontally. Macrame then works into 6 triangles, at the end of which are red, white, and blue tassels approx. 3-1/2" long. Made by Fred Ingraham while serving in the U.S. Navy during WW I.
