Gold filled medal, shield shape with laurel leaves and bearing blue, green and white enamel sailing canoe scene, marked "A.C.C./ S.B." (Associated Canoe Clubs of Sheepshead Bay, N.Y.), and "1935". Engraved on reverse: "RACE 4/ 1ST/ CL. A" and stamped "NATL INSIGNIA/ NY/ MFG CO/ GOLD FILLED". Hung from red and white silk ribbon with brass pin clasp.
