Photograph from the collection of Captain George Comer (1858-1937) of East Haddam, Connecticut. Photo of schooner A.T. GIFFORD. Also screw steam towboat ASHER J. HUDSON and towboat WM. E. CLEARY. On rear: "A.T. GIFFORD in/ dock at New Bedford." Comer made two lengthy whaling voyages to Hudson Bay with the A.T. GIFFORD between 1907-1912.
