Photograph from the collection of Captain George Comer (1858-1937) of East Haddam, Connecticut. Photo taken by Capt. Comer in Hudson Bay, ca. 1897-1912. Depicts an Inuit summer camp. Identified by Comer as "Native summer tent[s]". The two-color cloth tent was probably obtained from the American whalers. Identical to 1963.1767.182.
