Photograph from the collection of Captain George Comer (1858-1937) of East Haddam, Connecticut. This photo, probably taken by Capt. Comer, depicts the harbor at Etah, Greenland. It was taken, ca. 1915-1917, when Comer participated in the Crockerland Expedition sponsored by the American Museum of Natural History. Comer's original caption for this image identifies it as "showing the water just outside the harbor at Etar [sic]".
