Cast soft metal doorstop in the shape of a dory with 2 men seated, legs over starboard side. Dory is yellow with black bottom, named "COASTING/ ALONG". Men are identified as the artist, Paule Loring (American, 1899-1968) wearing coveralls and swordfisherman's cap, and his friend Howard with vest and pipe. Signed "Loring" on forward thwart. Green felt on bottom of piece.
