4 x 5 Kodak safety negative taken by Rosenfeld and Sons during the New York Yacht Club Cruise, 1949. Starboard view of the auxiliary ketch CHANTEYMAN (#104) at sail. CHANTEYMAN was built by Mill River Boat Works in 1935, and designed by Elwood Sprague. She was owned by Ed Raymond, and is said to have won many races on Long Island Sound. Stamped on original negative sleeve: "124480F / NYYC CRUISE / 1949". Handwritten: "104 Chantyman".
