Monroe design ketch MICCO (built 1891 in Staten Island). Visible in image: crew seen relaxing on deck before the start of the Newport to Bermuda Race. Men seen at the starboard aft section of the boat, casually talking and displaying various modes of yachting fashions of the 1920's. MICCO is seen tied against another vessel (in foreground), and part of a canopy shows at the top edge, across the entire negative (cropped partially in printing), part of a wheel showing in the lower right corner of the negative (not seen in printing). Bundles of flags or burgees are seen on a cushion on the vessel MICCO is tied to, in the lower left corner of the image.
