Frank Wood of City Island, New York, in 1906, undersail off Larchmont, New York. Starboard bow view of GARDENIA, #M3, on port close reach, heeled over, rail down, with a crewman on the bowsprit with his crew mate feeding the jib out to him. Handwritten on negative sleeve: “94-B / Box 6 / Gardenia”. Negative info. in ink: "94 / 3103 / Gardenia Larchmont June 20 / 10 X".
