8 x 10 Kodak safety negative taken by Rosenfeld and Sons on February 10, 1928. Interior view of a state room aboard the steam yacht SAVARONA. This yacht measured 294 feet in length, and was re-named ALDER in 1932. She was a Henry J. Gielow design and built by Pusey & Jones in Wilmington, Delaware. Her home port was Philadelphia from 1927-1929 and New York, New York from 1930-1940. Typed on original negative sleeve: "30919 2/10/28 / Savarona / Stateroom".
