11x14 gelatin silver print made by David Rosenfeld ca. 1964 from an original 35mm filmstrip frame. Image of CONSTELLATION after being launched, dockside, port bow view looking aft. In the background across the water from Minneford's is the Ratsey & Lapthorne sail makers building. CONSTELLATION was a 12 metre 68'5" sloop, sail #US20, built in 1964 by the Minneford Yacht Yard on City Island, New York from designs by Olin Stephens of Sparkman & Stephens and was a successful U.S. defender for the America's Cup in 1964. Pencil notes on print verso:"64-36-1 / CONSTELLATION-After Launching". Typed note: "M. Rosenfeld photo (by David Rosenfeld)."
