8x10 safety negative photographed by Rosenfeld and Sons June 18, 1929. Image is an interior view of ACANIA of a stateroom with a single bed against the left side of the room and three sets of dresser drawers along the right wall. Against the back wall is a chair and a night table with a thermos and two glasses in a stand attached to the wall. Above the headboard of the bed on the wall is a telephone. ACANIA was the first vessel of that name built in 1929 at 126' by Pusey & Jones of Wilmington, Delaware from designs by John H. Wells for Arthur E. Wheeler who owned a new ACANIA in 1930.
