Brown built auxiliary ketch MICCO (built 1891 in Staten Island, N.Y.) at Newport-Bermuda Race [a four to six day excursion]. Visible in image: starboard beam view of MICCO on port close-hauled tack under gaff-rigged main and mizzen sail, main topsail, club-footed staysail and jib, crew congregated in stern, spectator sail and power vessels observe the race under bare poles, a small motor boat is underway with two crew.
