Visible in image: zoomed in port beam view of the J Class sloop WHIRLWIND on a starboard close-hauled tack under mainsail, staysail and jib heeled rail-down, crew is lying on high side. WHIRLWIND was launched as a potential America's Cup defender. Handwritten on original negative sleeve: "6/16 / Whirlwind / Box 2824" and stamped: "39929F".
