The vessel is the 24' Roger McAleer designed Raven Class centerboard sloop VINKY, believed to have been built by Cape Cod Shipbuilding Company of Wareham, Massachusetts. Image of VINKY, port beam view, sail #31, just after the spinnaker sheet has snapped and mainsail has been eased to deal with the problem. In the background are other unidentified sloops. Stamped on the original negative sleeve: "127147F / JUL 18 1950 / LARCHMONT RACE WEEK / 1950" and handwritten: "Raven #31". Videodisc and frame number of a print: 1-50690.
