Image of 65' Warwick Hood designed, William Barnett built 12 meter class sloop DAME PATTIE (built 1967 in Australia) and 64.5' Britton Chance Jr. designed, Minneford Yacht Yard built 12 meter sloop INTREPID (built 1967 in City Island, NY) at America's Cup 1967 third race. Visible in image: cropped starboard quarter views of "DAME PATTIE / R.S.Y.S" and INTREPID on port close reaches under mainsails and genoas, DAME PATTIE is in foreground with INTREPID far off to port, both are throwing up bow spray and are heeled over, rail down, DAME PATTIE's crew is lying on windward rail as Alexander Sturrock sits at the wheel braced against the leeward cockpit.
