HAPPY DAYS was built in 1927 by Krupp-Germania Werft of Kiel, Germany from designs by Cox and Stevens. She was a twin screw diesel yacht; with a clipper bow, overhang stern, two masts, continuous main deckhouse and two deckhouses on the bridge deck. Owner in 1927 was I.C. Copley.
