View of MISS COLUMBIA hoisted in the air from her cradle and being carefully maneuvered from the dock and being readied to be lowered into the water. Image shows a starboard beam view with a man at the stern with a long stick to make sure that the hull does not hit the docks side on the way into the water. MISS COLUMBIA was a 26'9" Gold Cup hydroplane, design #203, by George F. Crouch and built by Henry B. Nevins, Inc. of City Island, New York in 1924. Typed neg. sleeve info.: "12479-F".
