Francis Herreshoff design and Quincy Adams Yacht Yard Inc. built auxiliary ketch TICONDEROGA (built 1936 in Quincy, Mass.) during the time of the Miami-Nassau Race off Florida. Visible in image: port beam view of TICONDEROGA on starboard close reach under marconi-rigged main and mizzen sails, club-footed staysail and jib, crew is sitting aft or working on jib sheet, the Miami Yacht Club burgee-triangle with red top and blue bottom with white squiggly line through center- flies from mainmast and unidentified swallowtail burgee flies from mizzenmast.
