View of Cornelius Vanderbilt III, standing posed on the deck of his yacht (probably his new yacht NORTH STAR, which was bought in 1903). Seen here holding a telescope and standing on the carpeted deck of his yacht, in a captain's uniform. Mr. Vanderbilt is wearing white shoes with a slight heel. Stamped on back in rectangular box: "MORRIS ROSENFELD / PHOTOGRAPHIC ILLUSTRATOR / 116 NASSAU STREET, N.Y. / Phone BEekman 3-4970". Handwritten on back: "Gen. Vanderbilt". Embossed in lower right corner: "M. ROSENFELD, N.Y.".
