8 x 10 gelatin silver print taken by Rosenfeld and Sons at the New York Yacht Club Cruise, 1947. Stern view of the vessels COURANTE (sloop), DJINN (cutter), and GYPSY (sloop), reaching with spinnakers set. DJINN was originally named ACTAEA, and is a 61' cutter, designed by Sparkman & Stephens, and built by Nevins Yard in 1938. GYPSY is a Frank Paine design and was built by Lawley & Sons in 1939. COURANTE is another Sparkman and Stephens design, originally named ORIENT, and built in Hong Kong, 1938. Stamped on back in blue rectangular box: "MORRIS ROSENFELD AND SONS / PHOTOGRAPHIC ILLUSTRATORS / 163 WEST 23rd ST., N.Y. 10011 / Phone: 989-2404". Handwritten on back: "Courante - Djinn - Gypsy".
