Image of J Class sloop WEETAMOE, using sail #J4, on the left, and I Class cutter VANITIE, #I/6, on the right, undersail, starboard bow view with shoreline and boats in background. WEETAMOE was a 125'9" J Class sloop built by Herreshoff Manufacturing of Bristol, Rhode Island from designs by Sparkman & Stephens in 1930. VANITIE was a 118' cutter designed by William Gardner & Co. and built by George Lawley & Son Corp. in 1914. Stamped: "65298F / [Box] 3840".
