5 x 7 Kodak safety diacetate negative, taken by Rosenfeld and Sons on Lake Claire, MI. Port bow view of the hydroplane MISS ENGLAND III underway at high speed. Spray flies out as she races along in 1932. MISS ENGLAND III was a British vessel. She was designed by Fred Cooper, and built by Thornycroft & Co., Ltd., in England 1932. She raced the Harmsworth 1932, Kaye Don driver and Dick Garner the mechanic. During first heat, boat began to sink and during the second, she broke a piston and was towed off the course.
