The ladies are facing to the left, over the starboard side of the boat. One, Edith Roak, is seated on the back of the transom bench in belted shorts and haltered top with booted heels on the seat of the bench. Standing nearby, the other woman, Camille Toni Lanier, in a one piece bathing suit/romper, hat, and heels, holds her right hand up to her forhead to block the sun and rests her left hand on her hip.
