overall: 7 x 5 in.
7x5 nitrate negative photographed by Rosenfeld and Sons in Florida 1934. Pictured are 2 ladies watching the events from the aft deck of a boat. The ladies are facing to the left, over the starboard side of the boat. One, Edith Roak, is seated on the back of the transom bench in belted shorts and haltered top with booted heels on the seat of the bench. She has her right arm draped over her head. Standing nearby, the other woman, Camille Toni Lanier, in a one piece bathing suit/romper and hat, holds her right hand up to her forhead to block the sun and rests her left hand on her hip. The women are out of focus as the focus was placed on the passing racers in the water beyond them. Beyond that, a tree-lined shore with a large home.
