View of the sail of the J Class sloop ENTERPRISE, seen laid out in the Ratsey and Lapthorn sail loft, City Island, NY. Fifty nine people seen posed holding up material along the edge of the sail. ENTERPRISE was a 1930 America's Cup defender. She was designed by Burgess & Morgan and built by Herreshoff in 1930. She measured 121 feet in length. Handwritten on back: "Enterprise mainsail at Ratsey".
