Starling Burgess designed, Herreshoff built J class sloop RAINBOW (built 1934 in Bristol, R.I.) underway. Visible in image: starboard beam view of RAINBOW (J/5) on port close reach under marconi-rigged mainsail, staysail and jib, heeling slightly, crewing is running forward to change jib, which appears to have ripped, a yawl can be seen between the boom and deck of RAINBOW.
