Trunk; possibly used by Levi Watrous while working as a traveling salesman for cotton gin companies, circa 1875; trunk is wood, bound with tin and fluted wooden slats; domed hinged lid secured with three locks; leather handles; interior lined with paper, removable tray divided into three compartments; color lithograph label on inside of lid depicts man riding pacer.
