5 x 7 glass plate nitrate negative taken by Rosenfeld and Sons in 1921. View of the floating gasoline barge, FRED KNIGHT. Signs on barge read: "FRED KNIGHT", "PEOPLES GASOLINE / FILL HERE DAY OR NIGHT", "MOTOR BOAT REPAIRING", and "GASOLINE". Man stands near stairs on deck of the barge. Barge has an upper level that appears to be living quarters. A vessel is partially lifted on the starboard side, barrels, boats, and tools seen scattered on lower level. Boat houses seen on shore in background -- area is unidentified. Handwritten on original negative sleeve: "gasoline station / Box 637".
