Image of the vessel SEA HORSE underway, showing a port quarter view. SEA HORSE was an 80' commuter cruiser designed and built by Purdy Boat Company of Trenton, Michigan in 1921. She was used for many years in the Great Lakes and in Florida. Her power was from 2-1923 gas engines by Allison Engineering Company and the cost of engines was $22,000. She was co-owned in 1921 by James A. Allison and James H. Snowden. Typed neg. sleeve info.: "6943-F". Stamped: "AUG 28 1921".
