6x8 glass negative photographed by Morris Rosenfeld at the time of the Block Island Race of 1911. Image of NUTMEG on a starboard bow view undersail racing in Division A. NUTMEG was a 38' sloop, designed and built in 1905 by C.C. Hanley of Quincy, Massachusetts. The A on her sail is not a class representation but a division rating for interclub racing in the 1911 Block Island Race. Information written on the original negative sleeve: "Block Is.
