The date taken is unknown, but the Long Island Sound Schooner Class was not built until 1912. Information written on the original negative sleeve: "# 106 / Box 9 / Y [yacht] / S.S. 2 [sic - image is #SS5]" and stamped: "PLATE NO." and written: "126 [crossed out] / Box 10 [crossed out]".
