5x7 safety negative photographed by Rosenfeld and Sons during the Yale-Harvard Regatta in 1938. Image shows a starboard beam view of HELLU underway with several people visible on deck. HELLU was a 55' cruiser designed by Fred J. Peterson and built by the Peterson Boat Works of Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin in 1937. Her owner in 1938 was Hunter S. Marston. Stamped on the original negative sleeve: "87806F / YALE HARVARD 1938 / [Box] 4461" and handwritten: "HELLU".
