Image of the vessel WHITE CAP, undersail showing a starboard beam view during an unidentified event of small mixed class boats photographed on the 9th or 10th of July, 1923. This vessel is racing in the Handicap class as %1 and the logo is sewn over the original logo which is D1. WHITE CAP was a Buzzards Bay 25 sloop with a 32' length overall. She was commissioned by C.R. Holmes March 28, 1914 from the designer Nathanael Herreshoff and was built by Herreshoff Manufacturing of Bristol, Rhode Island and in later years renamed ARIA.
