5 x 7 Kodak negative photographed by Rosenfeld and Sons during the time of the New London Races on June 19, 1930 before the start of the Harvard-Yale Boat Races on June 20th. Port bow view of the motor yacht JEM on the Thames River off New London, Connecticut, passing on the right in the background a topsail schooner, a 4-masted schooner and a side-wheel steamer. JEM was designed by John H. Wells and built by Consolidated Ship Building Corporation of Morris Heights, New York in 1930 and was owned by Jeremiah Milbank.
