Visible in image: posed view of a group of eight fashionably dressed adults, seen seated in a dining room, one guest has excused himself to answer the telephone, while the remaining guests patiently sit and look toward the telephone. Image taken as part of long term commissioned work and documentation for the American Telephone & Telegraph Company, ranging from 1910 through the 1940s.
