5x7 glass plate negative photographed by Rosenfeld and Sons, ca. 1916. View of three native american indian women walking in front of 2 decorated tepees. All three women have papooses strapped to their backs. There is a little boy wearing a feathered headress in the background to the right. The trees in the background look to be the type found in the northeastern U.S.. Images in this box were found loose without envelopes or any identification. Images are of Native Americans in western Indian clothing but photographed in the eastern part of the United States in various poses. The guess is that these images may have been taken for an advertisement or a movie or a post card. Negative sleeve info.: "C / Box 267". Videodisc address: 3-9374.
