Image of the vessel PALAWAN undersail in a strong wind, starboard quarter view; sails reaching with spinnaker set and a port tack with deck visible. PALAWAN (1st), sail #191, was built in 1952 by Abeking & Rasmussen of Lemwerder, Germany from designs by Sparkman & Stephens, Inc. She was later renamed CAPELLA and KAIROS.
