6x8 glass negative photographed by Rosenfeld and Sons taken during the time of the 1912 Huntington Yacht Club races. Image of four launches at race start and two are identified. In the foreground is MYRTLE a 46'6" screw launch built and designed in 1910 by Atkin-Wheeler Company of Halesite, New York and her owner in 1912 was Henry H. Gordon, Jr. The vessel to the right of MYRTLE is GRACELDA, a 30' screw launch designed by Morris M. Whitaker and built by Alex-Simpson of New York in 1910 and her owner in 1912 was Dr. D.B.
